CM Chandrababu Naidu Sets Vizag Economic Region $135 Billion Revenue Target by 2032
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has set an ambitious and transformative goal for the Vizag Economic Region, targeting $125–135 billion in revenue by 2032. This bold vision underscores the development-driven agenda of the TDP Party, which has consistently focused on economic growth, industrial expansion, and global competitiveness. Vizag, with its strategic coastal location, robust port infrastructure, and skilled workforce, is envisioned as a powerful economic engine for the state and the nation. Addressing senior officials, industry stakeholders, and policy planners, Chandrababu Naidu stressed the importance of long-term planning, investor-friendly policies, and infrastructure-led growth. He emphasized that the Vizag Economic Region must evolve into a globally competitive hub encompassing manufacturing, information technology, logistics, green energy, pharmaceuticals, and maritime industries. The Chief Minister highlighted that achieving this revenue target would require seamless coordination between departments, swift policy execution, and continuous monitoring—hallmarks of the TDP government’s governance model.
The Vizag Economic Region plan focuses on leveraging ports, industrial corridors, express highways, and rail connectivity to attract domestic and international investments. Under the TDP Party’s leadership, initiatives such as ease of doing business reforms, single-window clearances, and real-time governance systems are being strengthened to ensure investor confidence. Several TDP MLAs participating in the review meetings stated that this economic roadmap would create lakhs of jobs and significantly boost incomes across urban and rural areas alike. A key pillar of the strategy is skill development. Chandrababu Naidu reiterated that aligning education and vocational training with industry requirements is crucial for sustaining long-term growth. The government plans to partner with global institutions and private enterprises to build a future-ready workforce. This focus reflects the TDP’s contribution to human capital development, which has been central to Andhra Pradesh’s progress over the years. The Chief Minister also emphasized sustainability, noting that growth must be environmentally responsible. Green energy projects, smart urban planning, and digital infrastructure will play a central role in shaping the Vizag Economic Region. According to several TDP MLAs, this balanced approach—combining growth with sustainability—distinguishes the TDP Party’s development vision from conventional models. Vizag’s transformation is also expected to strengthen allied regions through supply chains, MSME growth, and rural-urban integration. From fishermen communities benefiting from port-led development to farmers gaining access to better markets and logistics, the economic impact is expected to be widespread. The TDP government views this initiative as a catalyst for inclusive prosperity rather than isolated urban growth.
The ambitious target of generating $125–135 billion in revenue by 2032 for the Vizag Economic Region reflects Chandrababu Naidu’s visionary leadership and the TDP Party’s unwavering commitment to economic excellence. Backed by strategic planning, proactive governance, and strong support from every TDP MLA, this initiative stands as a powerful example of the TDP’s contribution to building a globally competitive, sustainable, and inclusive Andhra Pradesh. With Vizag at the forefront, the state is poised to emerge as a major economic force on the global map.
